NOC Operator

Investigates, documents, and resolves abuse and fraud-related security issues, including application of the following technical aptitudes:

Nature & Scope

  • Familiarly with security concepts such as Spam, Spyware, Viruses, Bots/Botnets
  • Application level knowledge of email protocols (how email works, etc)
  • Practical and technical knowledge with hardware, firmware, software and concepts such as routers, firewalls and mail protocols
  • Responds carefully to abuse, fraud and security related phone, email and chat requests for support
  • Capacity to observe, process and discuss highly sensitive information, as well as, media, that may be controversial or offensive in nature, as relates to customer security issues that could have possible legal implications
  • Tracks events in Logs
  • Reviews customer security and policy discretions and educate customers to prevent future occurrences
  • Ability to discretely and diplomatically resolve issues with customers via telephone, email and chat while respecting both the customer and company privacy
  • Works with vendors and outsourced partners to resolve issues
  • Availability to work specified schedule (rotating shifts or second, third shift as agreed at time of hire)
  • Ability to work overtime, as ┬áneeded
  • Complies with company policies and procedures
  • Punctual, regular and consistent attendance

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) mandatory
  • Associates Degree in Information Systems Technology, MIS, or related field desirable or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in a Helpdesk/Customer Service/Technical Support role
  • Customer centric attitude with strong telephone skills, including the ability to discuss technical terms and situations in a non-technical audience
  • Knowledge of typical ISP technologies and services
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Desktop Applications and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of statistical reports and flow charts used to support team activities
  • Desire and ability to grasp new technologies quickly and learn new applications and web interfaces as necessary
  • Strong verbal and written communications and inter-personal skills

Account Executive

SATCOM Digital Networks, LLC, a national commercial satellite television company based in Cranberry Township, PA, is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive. The primary responsibility of this position is to generate new commercial sales for the organization.

Nature & Scope

  • Develop a strong working knowledge of our systems and products in order to obtain new business by identifying sales opportunities with both new and existing clients
  • Analyze data and trends in the current marketplace and use this knowledge to build and expand existing customer accounts and develop customer specific sales strategies
  • Create sales proposals utilizing creativity, independent judgment, and industry knowledge
  • Act as liaison with engineering, customer support, and field support to ensure prompt installation for new customers and ensure equipment issues are resolved in a timely manner for existing customers
  • Maintain sales database and historical customer records

Qualifications

  • Ability to regularly meet or exceed monthly sales goals required
  • Working knowledge of television programming, production, and distribution strongly preferred
  • Business to business sales background strongly preferred
  • Excellent sales technique, including strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required
  • Strong ability to problem solve, take initiative, and develop sales and installation solutions for our customers
  • Strong customer service skills via phone and in person required
  • Strong attention to detail required; must be able to work independently and make sound business judgments in regards to all sales related matters
  • Must be self-motivated and sales results driven
  • Must be able to manage time well and provide accurate reporting
  • Able to travel as needed for customer meetings
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required
  • Sage ACT software knowledge preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) strongly preferred
